Toppling down of Transmission Towers a criminal Omission of engineers, company: Usman Majid | KNO

Srinagar, February 09 (KNO) : Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) General Secretary and former MLA Bandipora, Usman Majid here on Saturday said that toppling down of under construction transmission tower in Ajas Bandipora is unfortunate. Majid as per a statement issued to KNO said that the tragedy happened because of the poor quality work. “It’s a criminal omission on the part of the engineers and company entrusted to execute the job,” he said. He added that there must be strict action against the erring persons. He asked that “how could they tolerate the stormy winds in future when they will be made fully operational.” Majid also demanded a time-bound high-level probe into the matter.(KNO)
